Street photography is a unique genre, similar to documentary & photojournalism, it can challenge the person behind the lens, capturing a decisive moment. Your perception may see it as voyeuristic, invasive perhaps it raises privacy concerns. If it helps justify my work, Mr Henri Cartier-Bresson captured similar 'decisive moments' on the Street, with his portable Leica rangefinder and fast 50mm lens! This was over 90 years ago. I also have another website, www.shootstreet.co.uk, still in its infancy, I am trying to engage with other like minded amateurs and professionals, allowing an exhibition platform and forum:)

Cambridge offers great opportunity to capture the street in respective light conditions, I use an old Leica digital with a fixed 24mm and very retro 35mm rangefinder. Comments are always welcome :)
